Wooded River got its name from the Boise River, which means "wooded," and is situated in the Treasure Valley region of Idaho. This stunning location has been a source of inspiration for the company's patterns, designs, and products. The values of family, quality, and service that are inherent in their surroundings are also reflected in everything they do. Originally a clothing venture, Wooded River expanded its offerings to include hand-sewn blankets and pillows, and eventually handmade bedding. In 2011, Brandon and Jill Andersen acquired the company, and through their sister company, Fireside Lodge Furniture, increased its reach to a national level. Since then, Wooded River has experienced continuous growth and can now be found in numerous stores, homes, and hotels worldwide.
