“The first cutting horse I ever rode was Tarimocha,” he said. “She was a gray mare that Dick Gaines had. She’s the one that really got me hooked. “The first [cutting scene] I did was of Dick Gaines on Tarimocha. It was called ‘Face to Face,’ and it was used for the NCHA Futurity poster in 1995. The cutting horse paintings I’ve done are still some of my favorites.” ~Tim Cox~
