Gourmet Leather - 33-pc Collection

Gourmet leather is produced on English bull hides and tanned in Italy by a fifth-generation tanner. Gourmet has a unique, soft oil tannage and a paraffin top to provide a clear transparent surface. This leather also has a vibrant pull-up effect and is unique in that it maintains its luster when pulled in tight areas of the frame. The soft tannage allows Gourmet to be easily tailored with pleating and tufting and used on a broad range of frames. This leather will continue to burnish and polish over time, and wear will enhance its appearance. Gourmet's visual appeal combined with its soft, supple hand makes it a leather to notice.

R1 - Minimal Resistance. This type of luxurious leather is designed for fashion and style and includes types such as Nubuck and Suede. This type offers no protection and is typically textural, Aniline dyed. The dye lot will vary, and it will scratch. Gourmet lather is truly a unique, hand-made article in an era when only companies committed to the highest standards lavish this sort of attention and time to unique American made furniture.

Leather can be purchased by the hide or on a square foot basis. For leather cut to size, we will compute the square footage and DOUBLE the price per foot to account for the leather yield. Whole hides average 48 square feet. Use the following chart when estimating requirements.
