We recommend treating your genuine rawhide lampshade with mink oil or rawhide cream when you feel the shade getting dry, or at a minimum of 2 times per year. This will ensure your shade stays hydrated, and will last a lifetime if properly cared for. Our genuine rawhide lampshades are hand dyed, and the pigments will vary slightly.
