We recommend treating your genuine rawhide lampshade with mink oil or rawhide cream when you feel the shade getting dry, or at a minimum of 2 times per year. This will ensure your shade stays hydrated, and will last a lifetime if properly cared for. Our genuine rawhide lampshades are hand dyed, and the pigments will vary slightly.

Genuine Rawhide Lamp Shades will have natural markings / striations from the cowhide. Some shades may be made from part of the hide which carries a ranch brand. Each lamp shade is unique to the next, making them truly one-of-a-kind.
