Beginning with embossing and foundational micro-pigment coats, the hide is selectively wiped to reveal rich color variations. Hand-applied top coats add depth and character, creating an authentic vintage aesthetic that tells a story. A protective lacquer finish seals the craftsmanship, delivering a supple leather surface with remarkable warmth and dimension that only improves with age.
True 100% top grain cowhide leather is characterized by variations in shade, texture, color and grain. Healed marks and scars are to be expected and enhance the natural beauty of the hides. These variations are normal and unique features of true genuine 100% top grain cowhide leather.
Construction: Frames are precision-constructed from select hardwoods, double-dowelled and corner-blocked to last for generations. Double-cone tempered springs
are 8-way hand-tied with 6-ply twine and reinforced with steel strapping support. For durable soft sitting, filling is a blend of polyester and cotton.
Cushions are urethane foam and wrapped in polyester fiber, then covered in muslin. Brass nail head trim is individually applied. Exposed wood is solid
hard rock maple.
