Leather Description: Mayfield's corrected top grain hides from New Zealand are cut thicker and infused with oils to create a hearty and rustic look. Mayfield's distressed appearance has a pull-up effect where the leather is stretched, that will continue to age and open up with use. Vacuum drying and the oil infusion help boost the intensity of the colors. A high-sheen topcoat finishes the look and helps protect against some stains and spills. Color variations to be expected. Light stain protection. Heat and light sensitive.

Frame Construction: Combining traditional hand craftsmanship with advanced manufacturing techniques, our frames rank among the finest in upholstery. Each frame is meticulously cut and hand-assembled from kiln-dried lumber, with double dowels reinforcing all structural joints for exceptional durability. Precision-cut corner blocks are strategically placed and secured with both glue and screws to enhance stability where stress is greatest. Seating comfort is elevated by double cone coil springs crafted from high-carbon tempered steel, complemented by premium, resilient polyurethane cushions that maintain their shape and provide lasting comfort.
