Leather Description: These are the highest quality hides, with minimal pigmentation or coloring, allowing all-natural markings to show the beauty of these innate leathers. Because any texture or marking on the surface is visible, only high- quality hides are suitable for aniline finishing. These hides, which use wax and oils to provide natural protection, are the least resistant to stains, color variance, fading and scratches. Over time Pure Aniline leathers develop a rich patina and unique wear pattern. 

Hand Burnished: Dyes are hand applied to South American and American raw material to impart a transparent clarity, this gives the leather a sophisticated pebble grain appearance. The absence of pigments adds to the natural softness. A protective top coat creates the exquisite touch. Because of the depth and transparency natural markings will be exposed and should not be confused as defects, but appreciated as Nature's Autograph.

Seat Cushion: A down alternative construction using specialized polyester fibers and high resiliency Qualux® polyurethane foam. The cell structure of high resiliency foam has a spring effect that provides supportive feel and helps retain original shape over time. We offer Basic Comfort Firm for those wanting a firmer feel to this construction.
